Highest Priority Critically Important Antibiotics (HP CIAs) should not be used in any way for preventative care protocols.
TMTV will strive to reduce its use and reliance on these products.
At present there are several products in the dispensary which fall into the Highest Priority Critically Important Antibiotics (HP CIAs) category. These include: Marbocare, Baytril, Aurizon & Marbocyl. These drugs are only to be used as a last resort, where there are resistance issues that have been identified as a result of Culture and Sensitivity testing.
